Thursday

Pre-flight preparations are done. Seat is picked, boarding pass printed. Suitcase packed. It only seems vaguely more real now than it did in January when they won through to the final. Of all the things that I've done in the name of this team, travelling wise, this is easily the most crackpot. But then these are times without precedent since before World War 1. One more day of work, then home to dump the laptop, pick up the luggage and off to the airport.
